Urban Agriculture
Check out a new and interesting Urban Agriculture display at the Saskatoon Farmer's Market. The Food Council is coordinating a display that features three different ways you can grow some of your own food in a container garden. Every Saturday morning in July and August, look for the Grow Anywhere - Garden Everywhere sign just at the entrance to the market. Learn about urban ag and buy a raffle ticket for $1 to win a
fantastic wooden planter for your patio or balconey - made by R&D Garden Services. Other planters have been supplied by the Askiy Project and by Higher GroundWorks Horticulture.
Some of the collaborators at the market last Saturday : Brian Storey of Drift Cafe, Ray Penner of R&D Garden Services and Michael Molaro of Higher GroundWorks Horticulture.
